Thank you for coming out to the 18th Homer Documentary Film Festival!
This year's festival had much higher attendance than last year and an embrace that indicates that the movies are back at movie theaters, after the restraint compelled by the Covid pandemic. This festival is one of the reasons that Homer, Alaska for many years has been consistently recognized as one of the best small art towns in America.
(See The 100 Best Small Art
Towns in America I Americans for the Arts.) The Festival occurs every year during the last week of September and curates for the Homer audience the movies that have been recognized in international documentary competitions for their excellence.
